“Fairly disappointed considering how much we spent.”
My friend and I booked a panoramic suite which in the photos has a great view of the Bellagio, fountains, and strip. After spending close to 8k AUD we finally, months later, arrived at the room and had issues checking in. They later checked us into a room that was occupied and inaccurate. Went back down to get allocated another room but when arriving at the room it was the lowest room so you couldn’t see over the roof and air‑cons. I went back down to complain and they said it was the only room they had in that category and I tried to get a refund and downgrade to a small room because, let’s face it, I’m not paying that much to look at a roof and not have a panoramic view of the strip. They told us to come back in the morning and spend the night so we did to them say they don’t have any more rooms but I could pay an extra 700 USD and upgrade to basically an executive suite room. Not wanting to miss out and having that room as our expectation for our trip we did it. It was disappointing that we had to spend that much and we had to have issues instead of just being allocated to a nice room you pay for. It was disappointing considering we thought we would get a luxury type arrival and looked after but it was the complete opposite. Would not stay here again. More charges and fees when you check in.
