“Para serem ruins, vocês teriam que melhorar muito!”
The staff were very helpful, but the accommodation itself had serious issues. First, the price of 800 reais for two nights (promotion, full price close to 1700 reais) seemed high for the material conditions. The common area looked old and in need of renovation, and the place should have been closed and air‑conditioned because of the mosquito problem. Breakfast was among the worst and poorest I’ve ever had, especially for the price; the food seemed low‑quality and the variety was thin, far below what one would expect. The room was again one of the worst I’ve stayed in: I couldn’t lock the door, and if I did, the receptionist had to come and open it from the outside due to a door and lock problem. I had to use a towel to avoid shocks from turning the electric shower on and off. The beds were terrible, the mini‑fridge looked like it was 20 years old, the coat rack was placed just above the desk—a childish decision by the host. The toilet seemed like it could break at any moment, probably because the old structure wasn’t properly replaced or upgraded. The only positives were the air‑conditioning and Wi‑Fi, which worked well.
