The view and calm were nice, but everything was extremely dirty, the bathroom lacked proper curtains for privacy, the mattress was soft and filthy, and a strong odor lingered throughout the room.

The spot is unusual, perfect for nature lovers with sea views from the room and an incredible jungle garden; the host was friendly, gave us useful tips, and offered an aperitif. It’s ideal for simple travelers who don’t need hotel luxury, but if you’re after that, it’s not for you. We were surprised that the house is just a few steps away, not a half‑kilometre as some say. The place is charming.

Getting there required walking on a muddy dirt lane up the mountain; you have to park 500 m away and descend two flights of narrow, plant‑covered stairs to reach the room, which is poorly cleaned, has many unusable items, is cluttered, the TV doesn’t work, and more. They charge a lot for a crappy room.
