When we arrived at the Aquaventure Reef Club, the location impressed us immediately; owner Gen and several staff met us at the taxi, one man even carried our luggage into the room. We chose all meals, which turned out to be the best food I’ve had at a resort, all hand‑cooked by the chef. We rented a family room to spread out, it was comfortable and the AC was nice and cold. The staff were kind and fun. My husband went on two dives and was thrilled. Gen treated us like family—a rare thing—and made the experience phenomenal. The owner’s care and concern go above and beyond. The whole staff downstairs greeted us with “Mabuhay” and “Aloha” as we left, and we even took a photo together. I miss them and the place already and will return. The only downside was that our stay was only for 2 nights :-(
