Located by Yanagi Port, Komatsuya Nagisakan offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami floors and sea views from select rooms and the observatory lobby on top floors. The hotel features indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths, free wired internet, and a private reservable hot-spring bath for an extra charge. JR Misumi Train Station is a 25-minute drive away, and free parking is provided.

The hotel sits right on the water with stunning views, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay even better. The on-site onsen was fantastic, and the staff even let me use it despite my tattoos, which they normally forbid. I had a wonderful time at Komatsuya Nagisakan and would highly recommend it for a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings. It was a bit dated, but that added to its charm, and it was very clean and well maintained.

I had a wonderful stay at this serene hotel resort, situated right by the sea with a beautiful bay view. My room was spotless, with a cozy seating area where I could sit and gaze out at the ocean. The hotel's onsen facilities were fantastic, featuring both indoor and outdoor baths, although I noticed that the location of the onsen changed depending on the day. The staff and owner provided excellent service, going out of their way to accommodate me despite their limited English.

I was blown away by the stunning sea and island views from my room, which had a lovely Japanese-style terrace. However, I found the hotel to be quite isolated, especially when arriving by bus, and the pillows were uncomfortably firm. Additionally, there were no shops or restaurants nearby, and the hotel itself felt a bit worn out. Despite these drawbacks, the room's tranquil atmosphere and beautiful views made for a relaxing stay.

I was warmly welcomed at this hotel despite making a last-minute reservation for a simple stay. The staff even prepared a delicious dinner for me, which was a wonderful surprise. The seafood, particularly the sashimi, was incredibly fresh and plentiful, and the other dishes were tasty as well. I was truly grateful for the hospitality and can't wait to return with my kids to enjoy more of the hotel's excellent seafood.
