The location and the restaurant were fine. We’ve stayed here a few times before, but this visit felt different. There was a lot of new staff, so the Italian feel wasn’t the same. In the room, there was a bad taste coming from the bathroom drainage, and there were bedbugs.

The spot is gorgeous and the staff are very friendly. The food is exquisite, and I’ll definitely come back.

The Il Vigneto’s location and atmosphere are fantastic, and the dinner with superb service and a view over the vineyards was the highlight. Breakfast was good, especially the delicious cappuccino. However, the Classic room didn’t live up to the hotel’s standards. Its terrace faces a dull courtyard and is sprayed by kitchen ventilation, which leaks into the room even when doors are closed. The bathroom is so cramped that you have to sit diagonally on the toilet to avoid hitting the narrow shower enclosure. The bed is very short, and the air‑conditioning doesn’t work.

The setting is beautiful, and the junior suite with a jacuzzi offered stunning views. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the room and shower were clean. I could relax in the morning with coffee or in the evening with a drink, and the Wi‑Fi worked well. When we wanted to unwind alone at night, the staff handed us a bucket of ice to sit at a table or take to the room. Several outdoor spots let us enjoy the view. The pool was relaxing, though the water was very cold for mid‑September, but it was still nice to put my feet in. I would definitely return and recommend it. We also enjoyed visiting nearby towns that were close by. We’re American and used to AC, but this room’s AC struggled to keep the temperature we’re accustomed to, which is something to keep in mind depending on the season. Also, the door didn’t lock fully when we left, though we could deadbolt it, and we still felt safe with our belongings.
