The host welcomed me warmly and was quick to respond, making the stay feel unique and reassuring, though the bathroom had unpleasant odors that couldn't be ignored.

Sleeping on a boat was a creative twist, with three cabins and two bathrooms, but the fridge was so dirty I avoided using it, and the overall vibe felt a bit lacking in warmth.

It was an adventure—no luxury, but fun and original to spend a night on a sailboat; La Rochelle and Île de Ré are lovely, and Michael is very friendly. Still, the top lacked light so evenings on board were limited, several fixtures in the rooms didn't work, and there was no fridge to consider.

Novelty aside, the place felt worn out with mold in several areas, which made our autistic child feel it was dirty and smelly.

Mold was present in every room.
