The spot was ideal for visiting New York: just a half‑hour bus ride to Manhattan, with three lines that run every 5 minutes, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the flat feel fully equipped.

The location is fine, but the listing’s photos don’t show that the building was converted from a car garage—see attached pictures—access is via the attached garage and a steep spiral staircase, skylights and ventilation are limited, the air‑conditioners are very noisy and can’t be used at night, and I’m surprised Booking could keep this place listed.

A perfect little studio in North Bergen with a nice upstairs bedroom and great bathroom; the direct bus to Times Square is convenient, and the area offers good food and drinks, but the garage door could be concealed.
