The house was very nice and comfortable, with amazing views, a calm area, and close proximity to the ferry. We even saw auroras over the fjord from the room windows. The host was very flexible and met us in person even after a late arrival because they live just beside the property. Thanks! All was ok.

I loved my stay at Slåtteng! Everything was exceptionally comfortable and immaculately clean. The location of the property couldn’t be more perfect: literally down the road from the ferry, and easily accessible to hiking trails and the bigger town of Lyngseidet. Heidi was the perfect host, greeting me upon arrival and giving me a tour of the house. I would 100 % recommend Slåtteng if you’re spending time in the Lyngen Alps!

The house is very good, has everything, is very large, clean, and comfortable. The views from every spot are spectacular, incredibly mind‑blowing. The owner is very friendly and was very flexible. It’s very well located for doing beautiful routes in the surroundings. In addition, the ferry is next door and takes you to the Tromsø area. Totally recommendable.

The location is charming, with a beautiful view of the fjord. The house is spacious, the bathroom/laundry on the ground floor is comfortable, and there’s even an electric appliance in the entrance for drying shoes :)
