The renovation feels emotional, stylish yet comfortable, and Federico and his mother went out of their way to help; the expansive, well‑maintained grounds are very dog‑friendly, perfect for unwinding, and the room service is excellent with tea and water available—definitely will return. The only issue was that there’s only a head shower.

The old stone farmhouse, built in 1612 and still owned by the same family for over a hundred years, is stunning; the private grounds with a vineyard and a friendly little dog are lovely, and the room is spacious with beautiful stone walls, a very comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom with all the amenities. It’s a sweet retreat in a small town yet close to Parma and other villages for dining and tours. Federico, the owner, is gracious and friendly, and we really enjoyed chatting with him at breakfast; we hope he visits us in TN. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property.
