The spot was great, but the bedding was a disaster, the noise kept me up all night, there was no air‑conditioning, and the smell from the restaurant below was unbearable. The owner sent me a borderline insulting message. It was a shame, and to top it off, the bill I received wasn’t even correct.

Out of all our European trips across 20 countries, including all the expensive Nordic countries, we must rate this hotel as an unpleasant and overcharged experience. Our room is high up, above FIVE floors, WITH NO ELEVATOR, through an extremely narrow pathway, a disaster for those with big suitcases arriving exhausted in the middle of the night. We were met with a RIDICULOUSLY SMALL toilet that you can barely fit in with just a slightly larger‑sized body, a BIG WARNING for those who need a bigger or just a normal‑sized toilet space. There’s no luggage storage, which cost us extra money. Wi‑Fi details weren’t given until we asked, but the owner kept asking us a million times to give them a full rating. That’s not how you get it with this kind of place. This room made Ibis Budget 10 minutes across the port feel like heaven.

The view was nice, but there were smells in the apartment, the owner’s response was late, unhelpful, and unpleasant. Apparently on the 4th floor without an elevator, the bed was 140 cm and there was no air‑conditioning.

The apartment was very clean and the view of the port was fantastic. The location is amazing, very close to the metro and only a 5-minute walk to a big Carrefour. There are also lots of restaurants just downstairs, which was very convenient. The only small thing was that there were no wine glasses — and we were in France! We bought plastic to drink wine with the view
