I slept in the stables, which was a unique experience, but unfortunately, the noise from other guests and the smell of smoke from their boma fire made it a bit of a challenge. No breakfast was provided, which wasn't a problem for me, but it might be for some.

We had a bit of a nightmare with the booking process. My wife called to let them know we'd be arriving late, but they didn't answer our calls afterwards, leaving us stranded without accommodation. We had to pay for another night at a different guest house due to their unresponsiveness.

We stayed in the stables, which was okay, but it wasn't exactly what we were expecting. If you're not self-sufficient and ready to cook for yourself, the stables aren't suitable for a sleepover.

The farm was absolutely beautiful, and the pool was a lifesaver on a hot day. The idea of sleeping in the stables was novel, but unfortunately, it came with some drawbacks – there was a rat in our room, the lighting was poor, and we couldn't open the windows to cool down. We could also hear our neighbors snoring all night.

After a long drive from Pretoria, we were looking for peace and quiet, and this farm delivered. The space was perfect for our kids to run around, and the peace and quiet were just what we needed.
