The accommodation is only an 8‑minute walk from the island’s harbor. The location is excellent for biking around the island, and you can rent a bike right at the hotel. Every night they hosted themed dinners that required signing up and paying on the spot at the front desk.

I would not recommend this place to anyone! I arrived with five friends and we were given three rooms. One of them was in terrible condition: almost no light, and the so‑called “wardrobe” was just concrete holes painted black on the wall, a perfect hiding spot for cockroaches. The walls hadn’t been painted in years. When I asked why we were receiving two decent rooms and one in such bad shape, and if anything could be done, an old middle‑aged French lady named Nathalie didn’t even look at me and curtly replied, “no, that’s what it is,” and said nothing else. I understand that a room change might not be possible, but at least she could have met my eyes and spoken to me. We had to stay in that room, and after three days we found four cockroaches! The place was also very dirty: the sun‑beds hadn’t been washed, the shower had salty water and no hot water, the AC leaked in our bathroom, and there was no toilet paper or soap. The two European‑looking ladies were fine, but the local staff were super welcoming and nice. Saying the location is good doesn’t mean much, because Gilli T is so small that it doesn’t really matter. In short, choose somewhere else!
