To be honest, I didn't have high hopes for my stay, but things only got worse from there. They initially tried to give me a different room to the one I'd booked, and then I had to ask for a refund when I got to the checkout. To top it all off, the room was infested with cockroaches and the noise from the surrounding area was ear-shattering at night.

The staff here are genuinely warm and welcoming, which makes a big difference. Unfortunately, the room had a bit of a pest problem and the air was thick with the smell of smoke. I'm not sure if it's a smoking policy thing or just a weird quirk of the building, but it was pretty off-putting.

The extra bed and spacious room were definite pluses, but the prices for food were pretty steep. I'm not sure if it's a standard thing for hotels, but it felt like a bit of a rip-off.
