The pool area is cool, and being right on the beach is obviously a bonus. Unfortunately, the bathrooms aren’t the cleanest or most beautiful. There are no lockers for backpacks or valuables, and there really isn’t a communal space, so the hostel isn’t very social.

The place is in a good spot. I was the only woman in my room, and there was no window. The staff were unhelpful. There’s no social vibe, so it’s not great for solo travelers. They only care about the attached hotel, not the hostel. The pool wasn’t open. The bed didn’t feel fresh or clean and looked outdated.

The location is good, but everything else is terrible. I booked two nights but only stayed one because I didn’t want to be talked to in a condescending tone any longer. The staff were extremely rude. There’s no night reception and they say you can ring the hotel next door for help. I rang to have the AC turned up a bit because the room was extremely cold and uncomfortable to sleep in. The woman told us to wait, so we waited 15 minutes, then rang again since the walk to the other hotel was less than 30 seconds. She said someone hadn’t brought the remote back yet and we said no. We waited a bit longer and someone else came and rang, saying they’d been waiting 30 minutes for someone to help them. At that point we had been waiting about 25 minutes ourselves, so we walked up to the other hotel as they had now taken the phone off the hook so you couldn’t ring them. When we walked in there were three women sitting there laughing and eating and they were extremely condescending and rude. After that it took another 15 minutes for them to come down and this is when she took the remote out of a locked drawer and we were able to fix the temp. We waited from 10:20 till 11:10 to get this problem fixed which is not acceptable and then to be talked to and treated how we were is appalling. Also they advertise the pool and beach club as part of it but just know you will have a minimum spend of 2000 a day to use it which we were also spoken to disrespectfully about this too. She just told us we had to move expecting us not being able to pay simply because we were staying in the hostel. Also had my food taken off me before i was done eating.

I had an amazing stay here and couldn’t recommend it enough. The location is perfect, with an incredible view right beside the beach, making it the ideal place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve slept in while travelling, and I had a great night’s sleep every night. The hostel itself was clean, welcoming, and had a fantastic atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The accommodation was top. There are no evening programs to meet people, generally everyone is more or less alone. It’s doable but not that easy.
