The rooms were clean, the location was good, and the price‑to‑value ratio was appropriate. According to Booking we could have collected the rooms at 13:00, yet they were still being cleaned around 13:30. The previous day we were told breakfast was available until 10:30, just before 10:00 they briefly mentioned it would be until 10:00, but if we’re in a hurry they still prepare it quickly. It was tasty, but communication could still be improved. We also requested a gluten‑free breakfast in advance, but it turned out there was no such option.

“Lovely, friendly hotel”

The property matched the photos exactly. It’s a nice restaurant and hotel, convenient for drivers and train travelers. On‑site parking is a huge bonus. The rooms look just like the pictures, are clean, have plenty of storage, and the fridge in the room is a great perk. Breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked, staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. The bedside lights are very useful, and the full‑length mirror was an added bonus. The large swimming pool was wonderful both in the evening and again in the morning. The only thing I didn’t like was leaving.

Rooms on the ground floor, easy accessibility. When we arrived there was no front‑desk staff, but they solved the code issue over the phone.

The facility has great potential that isn’t at all exploited. Unacceptable dinner hours and limited menu options. Too bad because the place is pretty.
