“Even though the staff were nice, the property itself is not up to the standard of 5 stars”

The valet parking and the health facilities. The hotel is rated 5 stars, but the furniture and facilities are more in line with a 4-star standard. The floor of the elevator was dirty—certainly not what you’d expect from a 5-star establishment. I was charged 377 euros for two nights, and an additional they take 564 euros!!was held as a deposit. I am currently on a tour of Europe, and that amount has yet to be returned; many other hotels typically release such holds within two days now 4 days!!!

There was nothing I liked; the rooms were very old, the pillows and mattresses had lost their quality, the furniture was black and oppressive, the bathroom lacked toiletries, the shower curtain had no light and the water ran all the way to the room; the minibar didn’t keep items cold, so you couldn’t drink anything chilled; the room didn’t even have a daily water supply, and there were many other shortcomings.
