My partner and I enjoyed a great stay here. The location is a bit outside Ubud’s centre but feels very peaceful, set back from the road so we hear only birds in the jungle behind us. The staff were all friendly and ready to help whenever we needed. Breakfast was tasty, though the options were somewhat limited. The only complaint is the many ants in the rooms and around the property; it didn’t ruin our stay but is worth noting.

The location was amazing—everything was within walking distance. The swimming pool was beautiful and the banana pancakes for breakfast were delicious. Aside from the smoothie bowl and pancakes, the rest of breakfast wasn’t that great. Occasionally there was a sewer smell in the bathroom.

The property offers a beautiful view and is in a very good spot. The surroundings and scenery were definitely the highlights. Unfortunately, the room and service fell short of my expectations. Cleanliness was an issue, with ants and other insects in the room. Several lights, including those in the bathroom, flickered constantly, so I stopped using them. The air conditioning shut off automatically every 30–40 minutes. The bathtub was unusable because there wasn’t enough hot water; after about five minutes the hot water ran out. When I mentioned this, I was told the property had a very limited hot‑water supply shared among guests, making it impossible to fill the tub properly. Breakfast problems included being served hard‑boiled eggs instead of the soft‑boiled eggs I requested. The most disappointing aspect was the lack of assistance and slow staff responses. I reported the lights, AC, and hot‑water issues on the first day, but they were not resolved. There’s no telephone in the room, so guests must contact staff via WhatsApp, and replies were often very slow. Overall, the location and view are lovely, but the room maintenance, cleanliness, facilities, and service need major improvement.
