“Fabulous location, views, super clean and fabulous host”

The place is just a five‑minute walk from the main bar and restaurant hub, so you can unwind in a quiet room after a night out while still being close to the action. A tiny shop next door made grabbing breakfast a breeze, and the terrace served up spectacular views; the room itself was spotless. Our host was full of current tips and really helpful. The only downside was the many stairs – they’re listed in the description and we were prepared, so it didn’t ruin the stay.

“Eine Oase in Santa Teresa mit Blick auf den Zuckerhut”

We felt completely at home here – the bed was super comfy and the shower stayed nicely warm. Christina was always reachable on WhatsApp and went out of her way to help, which made our second stay a breeze. The neighborhood is safe and the famous Selarón steps, Parque das Ruínas and the lively street scene with samba spots are just around the corner, turning the place into a peaceful oasis.

The owner was incredibly friendly and the room was spotless, making it a calm base for trips to Parque da Glória and Santa Teresa. The only hitch was the location up on the hill – we ended up taking an Uber each time we returned.

The little house feels snug and sits right in the heart of the district, surrounded by great bars and cultural spots. Christina, the host, was warm and always ready to help, so we instantly felt at home. The shared roof terrace offers an amazing view that really caps the stay.
