“It was good value for money for the time of year considering many people had arrived for the Kili marathon.”

The location was convenient and the breakfast selection was hearty, but staff communication could have been better, and the facilities seemed poorly inspected before our stay—initially a fan in the room didn't work, and the shower in the next room we were moved to didn't drain properly.

The place felt authentic and the location was lovely; everything was super clean, the staff were friendly and attentive, the breakfast was fantastic, and the garden and restaurant were nice—this is the spot you’d want to stay for a genuine African experience with personal care.

I had a great experience with the host, who was extremely helpful when I needed assistance with my Kilimanjaro trek company. Unfortunately, I don't have any other comments to share about my stay.

“Lovely lodge with a bad and irresponsible owner who doesn’t care about her customers”

The food at this hostel was acceptable, with packed breakfasts and large portions for lunch and dinner, although the beef was overcooked. However, our experience was marred by the irresponsible owner's behavior, who failed to provide us with the address and location, and refused to refund us or offer a complimentary meal when we missed a night's stay due to a lack of internet during the elections. The owner's attitude was very bad and disrespectful.

I enjoyed my stay at this property, finding it quiet, nice, and spacious. Unfortunately, I don't have any negative comments to share about my experience.
