We loved our stay at Folktales; the 360‑degree views of snow‑clad mountains and surrounding apple orchards were pretty good. The inside seating areas are very artsy and radiate a lot of warmth! Host Eshan is super warm, the food was simply delicious, homemade to perfection! Overall a fantastic stay at a traditional Himalayan house. Thank you for your hospitality 😁 We liked everything.

Folktales Residency hit the mark for me – spotless, well kept, and it has that rare mix of backpacker vibe and little Tibet feel. The setting looks like a Jumanji set for nature lovers, and it just feels right as soon as you step in. No complaints.

The location is great. The approach road to the building is tough for elders with walking problems.
