The room is basic, but for what you pay it’s great. The village is tiny but has both restaurants and several shops. Parking is in front, and a detour on the Hang Mae loop is recommended. It can get cold at night (we were there in January and my partner felt chilly), and the owners don’t speak English. Nothing major.

The location was great—just a short walk to the lake and surrounded by local eateries. The staff were friendly. The shower pressure and temperature were perfect on the cool nights at Pang Ung, and you can park your vehicle right outside your room. The towels in the toilet seemed a bit old and lint came off after use, but that wasn’t a big issue.

The host was good, but there was no Wi‑Fi.
