The spot itself was convenient, but the breakfast options left something to be desired.

The staff were lovely, friendly, and eager to help, yet I was a bit let down by the Full Dryburgh breakfast.

“Awful business”

The location was great, but I had to cancel on the second night at the last minute, got no refund or even breakfast, the room was dirty around the wardrobes, and I was charged for a terrible breakfast—just a single rasher of bacon in the Full Dryburgh—and for a room I never used; overall a business failure.

“A lovely stay while walking St. Cuthbert's Way.”

The Drysburgh Abbey Hotel is just a gem. My friends and I walked there from Melrose on St. Cuthbert's Way. It was by far the nicest accommodations we had on the entire pilgrimage. The grounds are lovely, the building still retains some of its former elegance, and the breakfast was excellent

Die Lage des Hotels hat gefallen, sehr idyllisch an einem Fluss im Wald gelegen. Parken war ohne Probleme möglich, direkt vor dem Hotel gelegen. Das Bier und der Cider an der Bar waren kühl und lecker. Kellnerin hat gut gezapft und war nett. Das Badezimmer war nicht sauber, es lagen überall Haare und Bartstoppeln auf den Ablagen und auf dem Boden herum. Das Frühstück war nicht genug(es gab kein Buffet sondern eine Speisekarte wo man sich sein Gericht aussucht) und auf meine Frage ob ich noch was zu essen bekomme meinte eine Kellnerin das ich es nochmal bezahlen müsste um noch mehr z.B Scottisch Breakfast zu bekommen
