The hot‑water heater was broken, but the owner sent someone to fix it; despite a few hiccups, I was still happy.

“Too expensive for the value”

The house was small but nice. It wasn’t clean: the bathroom and the kitchen drawer were not very clean. We also found a condom box under the furniture and an empty condom package next to the bed, plus fake eyelashes in the bed. Kitchen tools were scarce, which was limiting.

This is the best place to stay in Almaty! You’ll be surrounded by nature, on the hills enjoying cool wind and a very warm welcome! The houses are cozy, spacious enough for a family, and very modern and clean. You can walk in the mountains or enjoy a horse ride, or even pick apples from the huge apple gardens on the property! The staff are amazing, welcoming and easy‑going; they helped with all requests and recommended the best nearby spots. We booked two days, stayed an extra week, then returned after a short trip to finish the rest of our adventure here. Thank you, Alisher, Pangir, and Tatyana, for the warm reception!

It was quiet and peaceful. Grocery stores are far away, and food delivery and taxis take a long time to arrive.
