The breakfast was very good and the place was quiet. Everything else was fine.

The hotel fell far short of modern standards. The entire building smelled of cigarette smoke and dog urine, and there was vomit, dog feces, and mud on the hallway carpets and stairs. The room door didn’t lock properly, and there was no artwork on the walls. It was depressing and gross. A group of junkies hung out in the back parking lot, making me uneasy about leaving my vehicle and U‑Haul trailer unattended. The receptionist told me to park out back, but that felt unsafe. I ended up parking my truck at the Holiday Inn instead because it was better lit and less rundown. I’m not picky, but I’ll avoid this place in the future.

The vintage dresser and nightstands were nice. The motels were all next to each other, so it felt like one big parking lot.

The place was handy for our trip, but the traffic noise was a real nuisance since it's right next to the interstate.
