“Perfect for a peaceful stay.”

Can’t fault anything. From the moment of booking Louise was fantastic at communicating. I booked this for a client for a mystery trip away and they were so excited when they arrived. The hot tub is a great touch and well worth the little bit extra to pay. Lovely peaceful location with a great pub nearby for some food. I will definitely be keeping this place in mind for the next time I have clients in the area!. Nothing at all. My clients had nothing but good things to say!

“A nightmare”

Our stay was awful from start to finish. The host/staff were extremely rude and unwelcoming. The bed was literally held together with nails, which was very concerning. There was also no privacy whatsoever when using the hot tub. The property is situated in someone’s back garden, and we could see people walking past while we were in the hot tub. We also felt like we were being watched from the windows, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable. The property was not clean, with cobwebs everywhere, and the hot tub was dirty and had flies in it. The paving stones leading to the hot tub were loose and felt unsafe. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was a comment made by the host about my mixed-race partner, suggesting that “they’re not like us.” I found this extremely offensive and racially insensitive. Overall, the property was not as advertised, the cleanliness and safety were unacceptable, and the treatment we received made the whole stay extremely unpleasant. I would not recommend this property

The place was easy to find from the directions. The bed was comfy. A fridge, microwave and kettle were all useful. The shower leaked onto the floor because the screen was too short.
