The place sits nicely in a fairly central spot. The building is kept tidy and clean, giving off a pleasant vibe. Everyone on the staff—warm, friendly, and helpful—made me feel welcome. My room was roomy and incredibly comfortable, complete with a big fridge. The beds were very cozy with fresh linens, and the bathroom featured a powerful shower. Breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide range of tasty options. Everything was delicious! I have nothing to complain about, except that a tea-making setup in the room would be a nice touch.

The room was well maintained, fitting for an older classic hotel. Just watch out for the small steps inside the rooms.

Breakfast was decent, and the service was good, but the fruit and juice selection was quite limited. Water should be easily available during meals. Cleaning could be more thorough—especially the bathroom and the floor near the garbage containers. When dirty towels are removed, they should be replaced with clean ones.

The room was very comfortable. The microwave and fridge were lifesavers. Breakfast was consistently delicious, and I loved the turkey bacon. Coffee was excellent and available any time of day. They could exchange my American dollars for Guyanese dollars, so I didn’t have to go to a currency exchange. The hotel has a bar that opens Thursday through Sunday, serving fish and chips and chicken wings; not the best, but okay. A water dispenser next to my room was a nice feature in the hot climate. I didn’t explore the surrounding area because I didn’t leave the hotel during my free time. The whole stay had to be paid in advance, which was fine for me. The room got extremely hot in the afternoon when sunlight hit the wall; even with AC it stayed warm, but the staff provided an extra fan, which helped.
