The place was clean and quiet. The breakfast with Nestlé was excellent. The second café was closed on Sunday, which I hadn’t known beforehand. I didn’t mind lugging my stuff in the stairs, but I was prepared because the room was on another floor. I didn’t realize the TV was missing, but it didn’t bother me. A microwave would have been useful, but even that wasn’t a problem for a one‑night stay.

The accommodation sits right in Mäntsälä’s center, yet the traffic was calm in the evenings, so I could sleep soundly. The room came with earplugs for guests. Parking was plenty. The single room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was also roomy. I liked that I could open the window and enjoy the refreshing rain air at night. The breakfast included in the room price was a pleasant surprise and just enough for me. It offered: one cold drink, one hot drink, one savory item, and one sweet item. For a non‑driving guest, it can be hard to reach the bakery or café a few kilometres away in bad weather. I would have liked a small fridge in the room, especially in summer when you crave cold drinks. The room had a kettle, which I appreciated. I was a bit surprised there was only one tea bag and one instant coffee, so basically only one refill option. There was no sugar or other sweetener, but there was oat milk.
