We enjoyed the evening meal and the staff’s attention, and the room was lovely. We had a group for the evening meal and requested a table for around us, which we were given without any fuss. Breakfast tea was rather cold, though hot water was provided when asked. The breakfast food wasn’t as good as the evening meal.

The staff were lovely, especially Izzy and Alex, who we saw often and were always eager to help with a smile. The hotel shows some wear at the edges, but that adds to its charm and character, as if it were once a grand building at its peak. Breakfast and evening meals were spot on. Our room was a bit small but very clean and stocked with tea, coffee, and snacks via an honesty box system. Overall, we had a great weekend with lovely sea views to watch the world go by.
