The hostel is good, but the rooms are quite small and we had to share the bathroom with many people. Breakfast isn’t included, but the hostel has an arrangement with a nearby hotel where you can get breakfast.

The building is fairly new and clean, the reception is always available, and the location is central yet quiet. There’s air conditioning, power outlets and a light in the dorm beds, comfortable mattresses, and very clean bathrooms. The dorms are really tight, with too many beds per room and no space to put a backpack or other items.

The hostel sits on a quiet side street in the city centre, offering a great view from above. The rooms are extremely small, leaving barely any space for luggage, and the place was unfortunately quite dirty—both the floor and the toilets. The tours, taxis, and other services are priced higher than usual; for instance, the hot‑air balloon tour with Mr Kham cost more than $10 more than it would at the hostel, and when booking a tuk‑tuk the hostel keeps a third of the paid price for itself.

The rooftop is nice. The air‑conditioned room was loud and leaking, with water on the floor and on our bags. There was a fridge. The tiny room for eight (women’s dorm) offered no space for our stuff, and the shower shared by two people had hot water. Two showers on the floor served more than 15 people.
