The staff were friendly in the morning, but the single sheets on the double bed were a bit disappointing, and the late‑night check‑in reception was just average.
“Wow, Hotel Ferihegy is a nice and decent hotel to lodge in. Excellent Customer Service is provided.”
Hotel Ferihegy sits nicely near Budapest Airport, and I met Henrietta at the front desk after having spoken to her on the phone about directions. She was welcoming, polite, and delivered excellent customer service, making the stay feel like a home away from home. The hotel itself was neat and tidy, with fantastic air‑conditioning, great water pressure, and a lovely toilet roll in the bathroom. Wi‑Fi was stable and fast, and breakfast was a buffet with generous portions that kept me going all day—no complaints there. Rebecca handled housekeeping thoroughly, was pleasant, and even helped out in the restaurant during breakfast, while another staff member there was also friendly. Overall, the team at Hotel Ferihegy is outstanding. I would definitely stay again—100%—and I highly recommend it for its value. Public transport is convenient: the nearest train station is Ferihegy Station and buses 236, 236A, and 266 stop right in front of the hotel. Just use Google Maps or ask for directions. If you have luggage, the hotel’s shuttle bus is a good option, though it comes with a small fee. The only minor snag was that the TV cable wasn’t long enough to reach the wall socket, so I couldn’t watch TV on the first night. I told Henrietta about it in the morning, and she provided an extension cord that fixed the issue right away.
Being close to the airport was a clear advantage.
The hotel’s proximity to the airport was a definite plus.
Everything was beautiful and clean, and the hotel was very close to the airport. Finding the place was a real hassle because Google gave us the wrong directions.
