Location, clean and tidy old building. It would be great if there were an air conditioner; no kettle, tea or coffee in the room.

A very nice old hotel, full of authentic charm; at the entrance you can see records from the early 1900s. It’s a charming place. Our room 25 faced the street but there was no noise, unless you open the window. We sleep with earplugs. A good idea is to put a label on the door handle in the morning so you don’t disturb anyone; otherwise the maid doesn’t hesitate to come in, and it takes 10 minutes to return after cleaning the room.

The hotel operates 24/7. The staff are friendly. The room is clean and spacious, with a sink and a powerful fan. It’s close to the train station and nice spots, and there are good cafés and shops nearby. The biggest issue is street noise from a nearby Irish pub that stays open late; at 2–3 am the loud crowds are a problem if you’re a light sleeper. The second problem is heat: there’s no air conditioning, only a fan that doesn’t do much; without it the room feels stuffy, and opening the windows doesn’t help. The third difficulty is dust: the ceiling fan on the upper floor has so much dust that turning it on feels risky; the main floor fan also has a lot of dust. The fourth wish is for hooks in the shared bathroom; there are none, and it would be convenient for hanging towels and clothes—even sticker hooks would be a great help. Overall, everything else is great.

It’s located in the middle of the city. It feels a bit dated and not entirely clean; the trash cans from the previous guest were not emptied and the toilet seat was broken.
