The room was unbeatable—right on the water and really nice. There isn’t really a negative, just an observation: we took a taxi into town for dinner, and the driver from the main hotel gave us a brief tour of the good restaurants. It’s probably a nice 20‑minute walk back to the room, which might be an issue for some; we did it even in the rain.
We booked a room with breakfast and it was excellent. The onsen required going to the main building, which was a bit inconvenient, but the hot spring itself was wonderful.

In one word, the location and room are great. The décor is very nice, and the view of the sea is stunning. The only drawback is that you have to check in at their main location, which is a 5‑minute drive into the village by car.
