The staff were professional, and I had nothing to complain about.
The staff were polite, the hotel and room were clean, the bed was comfortable, and it’s very central. The downside was street noise and sounds from other rooms—neighboring doors slamming, a fire alarm at 2 a.m. One of the building’s air‑conditioners was noisy, and the lingering smell of kebabs from a restaurant downstairs seeped straight through the window.

The location was perfect, with easy access to all forms of public transport nearby. The accommodation was very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly. The best aspects were the cleanliness of the room, the friendly and smiling staff, and the wide variety of breakfast options

The hotel sits close to Taksim Square and the airport bus stop. The room, however, had a very strong tobacco smell that wasn’t just a faint hint; it permeated the entire space and was genuinely unpleasant. I’m quite sensitive to cigarette smoke, so at night my eyes were red and my nose irritated. The next day my clothes carried that same tobacco odor even though I’d been outside all day and never in a smoking area. When I returned to the room that night I left my clothes there, and the next morning they had absorbed a strong tobacco scent simply from being in the room. I was also concerned about the smoke detector, which had no indicator light and we couldn’t verify it was working. With the level of tobacco odor present, this is something the hotel should seriously address. Paying for a room and finding it in such a condition is unacceptable. A room should be clean, free of cigarette smell, and have basic safety features in good order. It’s a shame that what should have been an enjoyable stay turned out to be quite uncomfortable. I hope the hotel reviews these situations so they don’t happen to other guests.
