Located in Gatlinburg’s town centre, Super 8 by Wyndham Downtown Gatlinburg sits a 10‑minute walk from the Space Needle observation tower and 1.6 km from Ripley’s Aquarium and the Great Smoky Mountains entrance. Rooms feature refrigerators, coffee makers, work desks, HBO cable and free Wi‑Fi. Guests enjoy a lobby with a brick fireplace, complimentary coffee, microwave, and a daily continental breakfast. Dollywood is a 20‑minute drive away.

The staff were very nice, the location was great, and the price was good. The room had a weird musty, damp smell.

Location was decent. The property looks nothing like the photos. The room was small and smelly. There were stains on the curtains and mattress. The chair in the room must have had 10 years of dust sitting on top of it. The staff was incredibly challenging and defensive

The water got very hot and the pressure was strong, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very limited compared to other Super 8s we’ve stayed at.

The staff were very nice and friendly when we arrived. The hotel’s advertising, the rooms (all of them), and the overall look of the hotel were not what was shown. I booked a King room that advertised a dryer and other amenities that weren’t in the room at all. The room was very small, smelled bad, and the furniture was extremely old, so I would not recommend this location in Gatlinburg unless you view the property first and the room you want. They kept $170 of my money and still haven’t refunded me after I paid for a room at check‑in and left within 5 minutes because of false advertising. It was a big learning experience. The lady who checked us in understood our concerns and was very pleasant when we decided not to stay. The staff deserve a 5‑star rating. Hotel rooms in person compared to book.com or other sites are not what you think you’re getting. No need to share a photo, because we literally walked in and walked out. I truly blame the websites and the hotel for not promoting their true rooms and overall property.
