A bit of everything, especially the owners’ warmth and willingness to help. They’re kind and accommodating, but the room I was given was a bit small, the Melograno room.

The house’s location is unbeatable, offering panoramic views of the Appenines and the Po plain in every direction. After days in Bologna, it was a visual and auditory delight. The night was super quiet, except for a few cicadas. The hosts were friendly and helpful—Barbara speaks English—and the breakfast was delicious. Walking through olive groves and vineyards was included, which was great. In the evenings, the "Locanda della Fortuna" is a 10‑minute walk away and highly recommended; sometimes Roberto cooks himself, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

The location is excellent, the landlords are wonderful, and the homemade breakfast and dinner are delightful.
