The location and the staff run by an older couple were very friendly and helpful, and they would surely make your stay a success. The price‑quality ratio was very good; it was cheap (as we found) so we didn’t expect more. The building was noisy, but we slept fine with earplugs, and there was no window in the room. The couple doesn’t speak English, so we recommend booking only if you know a bit of Portuguese.

The place is right where you want to be – steps from everything – and the breakfast was solid. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, which made things easy. The only downside was the building itself; several parts look like they need a bit of repair.

This little inn sits right by the bus terminal in the historic centre, which is super convenient, and the staff are genuinely attentive, serving a breakfast of cakes, eggs, juices and cheese breads. However, the housekeeping fell short – the room went a day without being tidied, the bathroom could have been cleaner, and I even found a used soap bar left behind. Getting up to the rooms means climbing stairs, so it’s not ideal for anyone with mobility issues or older guests.

We felt the whole experience was a huge mismatch with the price and the photos online – the room felt cheap and far below what was promised. The linens were old and stained, the walls did nothing to block street noise, and the bathroom was half‑finished with exposed pipes and a plastic towel that felt unsanitary. Lighting was harsh, there was no wardrobe, and the staff never came to clean the room daily.
