The price was good for what you get. The location in VangVieng was great, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was nice. We were also welcomed with a mango smoothie. You get what you pay for; it’s a little dated but still lovely.

I had booked Lacasa originally, but it was fully booked, so I was moved to the Premier Hotel, owned by the same company. The room was very comfortable with a great view. Michael was very helpful, renting me a motorbike and giving me a driving lesson; he was patient and accommodating, and I highly recommend him. An elevator would be nice, but otherwise it was a solid workout.

The location was very good—we could walk to restaurants and a store. The staff were helpful, gave us a new scooter to rent, and handled everything. I had a great time staying.

The spot was convenient and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was basic but adequate. The front desk sold a lot of tours, balloon flights, and train or bus tickets. The room and bathroom on the floor showed plenty of wear. I bought a train ticket with the hotel’s help, expecting a commission, but the final price turned out to be twice the ticket cost. A strong chlorine smell hung on the ground floor from daily pool additions, and the air‑conditioning was loud.
