“Delightful stay in Honfleur!”
We had a delightful stay in Honfleur. The owners reached out before we arrived with details about Honfleur and free parking options. Madame welcomed us warmly, showed us our room, and pointed out the tea, coffee, and jams for breakfast. The layout and decor of the room we stayed in showed a lot of thought and care. Two windows let the breeze flow through. We also enjoyed a talented busker entertaining patrons of the restaurant opposite from the comfort of our room with a glass of wine. Everything was lovely and we had a relaxing stay. Market day is a must. We’ll definitely book again when visiting Honfleur! One thing to be aware of: there is a spiral staircase to the room that is quite tight if you have luggage. We only had a small suitcase so it wasn’t an issue for us. Madame offered to help with our luggage thinking we had more, but we didn’t need her assistance.
