“Terrible”

I was appalled by the creepy men who worked there: they opened the door while I was knocking, shouted at me over the phone when I mentioned it, threw blankets and pillows in the room, slammed the door, stalked me with a broom, tried to confiscate my packages, threatened to call the police for recording them, and behaved in a rude, crazy manner. The place was absolutely terrible, roaches were present, they didn’t allow guests after 10 pm, lied to the booking platform about a refund claiming I had several men over, and complained about towels because my hair was red—yet I had paid $40 for a deposit on the booking platform and $30 in person for another deposit.

I couldn't use an elevator during my stay, which was inconvenient.

“Clean but with safety concerns.”

The place was spotless and the staff were friendly, but I was handed the wrong room and someone else was already inside—an alarming safety concern for both of us. I was startled seeing a stranger in the room, and the staff apologized and moved me to another room. That room, though, had a broken bathroom sliding door that wouldn’t close properly and was hard to open back up; it was marked as handicapped accessible but a wheelchair user could not manage it. The secondary safety latch bar on the entrance door had no attachment point; the long U‑shaped piece was there but the other part was missing. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable, and there were no outlets by the middle table between beds—outlets were only on the sides, forcing me to place devices on the floor or on the desk across the room. I had to read the room policies thoroughly because I was asked to give a cash deposit, which was returned at checkout only after I specifically requested it.
