It was close to the beach, but the apartment was actually a basement unit; the low ceiling made heads bump against it and the place smelled bad. The basement toilet had no exhaust fan, the stairs were bare without carpet, and the entrance was embarrassing.

The vibe was chilled and the views were peaceful and beautiful.

What a lovely hotel. The spot was great—just a short walk to the castle, the beach, Cadwaladers, and the high street—so everything was reachable on foot. The family rooms were good, the breakfasts and dinner at the hotel were really great, and we also enjoyed drinks outside with sea and castle views. The owners were helpful, polite, and friendly, which made the stay very enjoyable.

The place had a nice location and the staff were friendly, but it wasn’t the apartment we booked; it was supposed to have sea views. Kitchen facilities were limited—only a small air fryer—and there was no place to wash dishes except the bathroom sink.
