I liked the location—close to downtown McKinney, shopping, and a safe, quiet area. The bed was comfy. However, the tiny refrigerator had no microwave or freezer section and barely fit any drinks; the pillows were too soft, the room was small for a king‑size bed, and the shower had weak water pressure. We received two wake‑up calls at 5 am that we hadn’t requested. Breakfast featured powdered eggs and the same sausage every morning, and the apples were old and mushy.

Even though I checked in late at night, the staff were friendly and handled everything politely; the breakfast buffet quality was outstanding, and the rooms were spotless. After checking out, I wanted to grab a bite and do some shopping nearby, so I asked about storing my luggage and they gladly helped me out.

“Nice price point”

It offered good value, a nice shower, a comfy bed, and large towels, and the location was convenient for us. Because it was our first Tru stay, I could only compare it to other hotels; the room felt cramped, and the only chair was the desk chair, with no extra seating available.
