“Relativamente economico e tranquillo”

Puerto Ayora is a small town on Santa Cruz Island. A peripheral place like Hostal Casa Edén lets you save a lot compared to central accommodations. The room is large, quiet, and the breakfast is great. The services offered (transfer, tours, etc.) do not have transparent prices. Even though I knew I had booked only for myself, they offered me a transfer service at a price; when I accepted, they raised the price, saying they didn’t realize it was just for me. Similar situations made me question their good faith.

Everything was fine except for the ants, which were everywhere.

The staff had a good attitude and the breakfast was fine. Ants were everywhere, even in the bed, which was very disturbing 😐.

“Good spot to explore Santa Cruz / Puerto Ayora.”

The property has character and charm, and the owner is very friendly and helpful. It’s air‑conditioned, and the on‑premise breakfast is fine. The location is quiet. The stairs were a bit difficult and small, especially with luggage, and it’s a bit out of town, though not too far.
