Everything was great, except that when filling the bathtub the pipes rattled loudly, which was a bit uncomfortable, and the location was not ideal.

The place was nice and quiet, 24‑hour room service was excellent and housekeeping was good, but the phone wasn’t answered quickly and there was no callback option, so we had to keep trying to reach room service.

The room, the Yue Restaurant, the breakfast (wide selection of Asian dishes, 4‑5 kinds of bread, and also pastries), and the staff were all good.

The hotel itself is huge and everything is superbly crafted, with interesting handmade art displayed in the main hall; the room was spacious and well designed, with clearly defined areas and a walk‑in closet; the designer paid close attention to color and décor, all harmoniously matched; the bathroom was very roomy and sparkling clean, likely because of the marble‑like materials; breakfast was generous and well planned even for an expat. However, the armchair at the desk is a poor fit – it’s too shallow, a swivel chair would be better; the sliding door between shower and toilet was badly corroded at the bottom and needs replacement; the first‑floor restaurant closes much earlier than the printed schedule, with no warning; I expected a hotel of this caliber to have a dedicated taxi line, but the concierge used personal phones and the DiDi app, which seemed flimsy.
