Lythwood Lodge, situated in Lidgetton, offers a tranquil retreat amidst lush green lawns and trees. This elegantly appointed country house features guest rooms with seating areas, satellite TV, work desks, and complimentary tea-and-coffee making facilities. On-site amenities include an outdoor pool, restaurant, and BBQ facilities, as well as a shared lounge and children's playground.

The lodge is quiet, safe, and the staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great. The road to reach the lodge is a bit tricky unless you have the right car.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive, the room was wonderful, and the fire inside was a great surprise; breakfast was amazing and I’ll definitely return.

The room in the main section was spacious, comfortable, and had both a bath and a shower; the cozy fireplace was impressive in winter. On arrival, welcome fruits were offered, followed by cookies and bedside chocolate the next day, and there’s a tea/coffee facility. A small bar fridge would complete the picture. The staff were friendly and kind, and breakfast is good with many options and daily minor changes that help if staying more than one day. The distance stated on the site needs improvement: my landmark was Michaelhouse, the site says 2.5 miles but it was actually a 30‑minute drive to and from, including a dusty road that should be mentioned so guests can plan transport accordingly.
