Located on Eastern Sands, Desert Wonders Camp offers eco-friendly, Bedouin-style accommodations with lantern-lit tents, solar-powered systems, and shared bathrooms with toilets. Hoe gasten het hotel beoordelen, aspect voor aspect.
Le personnel était au top. Nuit très chaude il n’y avait pas de Clim dans notre chambre. C’est un point important à prendre en compte avant de réserver. Les chambres avec piscine privative permettent de se rafraîchir mais une nuit dans une tente ferait tout en autant l’affaire au vu de la nuit très chaude que nous avons passé

We spent one night in the villa with a pool, which was truly beautiful and well maintained; dinner and breakfast were adequate, not luxurious but suitable for the desert. We encountered a shower drainage issue, but the owner and staff responded quickly and made us feel comfortable. The dunes beside the property offer an excellent sunset view. Air conditioning is missing, but we visited in September when the heat was still intense, so it was more our fault than the property’s.

We were upgraded to a tent with a pool, and the owner was very friendly while the staff were wonderful. The food was excellent, especially the best hummus we’ve ever tasted, and at night the stars and the Milky Way were clearly visible. We were the only ones at the camp, and I definitely recommend it.

It’s not far from the road, but the scenery is beautiful. The host and their workers are so nice! I really recommend it.

The property is set in the Omani desert, offering a fantastic view. Because it was low season, we were the only guests, which let us enjoy the stay even more. Amer, the owner, and all his staff welcomed us and made us feel at home. That evening we saw sweet camels and goats, then went on a sunset trek. Even though the sky was completely cloudy, when we saw a small gap of sun, Amer rushed us up a dune on the other side so we could watch the sun set; it was a wonderful experience. Dinner and breakfast, included in the price, were excellent with super generous portions. The only drawback, due to the season, was the extreme heat. We had booked a tent, but upon arrival we were told we would stay in one of the cottages because it would be too hot in the tents. The cottage had a ceiling fan that didn’t cool at all, even though there was a nice breeze outside and our door was wide open.
