“Over all it was an “okay” stay.”

Its location was convenient; it was close to the reunion we were attending. The bathroom floor and countertops needed updating. The white panel in the sleeping area could be painted to blend in with the wall mural. There was no safety lock on the door. It would have been nice to have more plug‑ins by the bed; I had to unplug the alarm clock to use the outlet. I think an upgrade on the rooms would improve the motel a lot. A more aesthetically pleasing sitting area outside would help as well.

“The motel is old but they are trying. I was convenient for our stay.”

When I entered the room and walked toward the bathroom I smelled a strong urine odor. We turned the A/C off when we left for the day. When we returned in the evening we had to lower it to 65 degrees to get it to cool the room at all. They replenished our towels but the towels had black stains on them. The parking lot needs some attention; they need to remove the broken ice cream truck, remove the folding chairs, and put some outdoor furniture or live plants outside to make it look a little classier. The motel was in the same town as my 55‑year‑old class reunion. The woman who waited on me was pleasant and helpful. There was no dead bolt on the door. The urine smell and the stained/dirty towels.

Old, run down, not sure if the sheets were even changed. Nothing for breakfast, only an ice machine and the refrigerator in the office. Only good thing was it was quiet.
