The hosts were very friendly and made us feel right at home. The garden is beautiful with lovely details. Paola and Paolo treated us to a breakfast of Sicilian delights and also gave us tips on sights.

The property is a two‑storey villa with the rooms on the upper floor, surrounded by a Mediterranean garden. Cleanliness is excellent. Everything is decorated in the style of intertwined reeds, with an extra artistic touch from Paolo. Breakfast is magnificent! Paola offers a savory treat each day (e.g., arancina, mozzarella in carrozza, sfincione, etc.) and a sweet (e.g., genovese cream or ricotta, cannolo, etc.), plus a different cake daily. Then there’s fresh ricotta; yogurt; seasonal fruit; homemade bread and jam; assorted sweets and croissants. Coffee, tea, fruit juice. Moreover, Paola and Paolo are wonderful company, always ready to give advice and share life stories worthy of a novel.

The breakfast was great Sicilian fare. The only issue was that keys and remote controls were not provided for re‑entry, which made it impossible to come back in.

Paola and Paolo are an extraordinary couple: they’re not just “hotel keepers,” they truly embody hospitality with soul and heart, offering a rare and unique experience. Their kindness is evident from the start, and they excel at the art of welcoming. They’re always ready to help, attentive to all needs—not just food but the “vital” ones—sharing wisdom and stories. In addition to the delights of Sicilian cuisine, my husband and I stayed at this charming B&B in nature for four days, and everything was perfect. For convenience, we recommend having a car to reach other beautiful spots the city offers, not just nearby ones; still, you can walk to main services like the supermarket, bar, bakery, etc.
