The front‑desk team were extremely helpful and friendly; I accidentally left cash on the desk when they gave me change, they checked their CCTV to find who it belonged to, and then they tracked me down to return it.

I spent a great time in Hue at Shark Hostel, where the staff were super friendly and offered solid suggestions for activities and meals, and even brewed a sweet ginger tea for me when I was feeling under the weather. The basic facilities were clean and comfortable, and the hostel sits right in the walking zone—at night cars and bikes are barred from entering, which was a nice touch. I would definitely come back. The downside was that my private room was quite humid; the humidity hit 85% in the morning, but the staff installed a humidifier that helped a lot.

Central location, nice room, friendly staff. Right next to a bar so at weekends was very noisy until 2/3am
