We were there during the monsoon, so there were very few tourists in all of Barathpur, yet it was still well worth it. In the breeding season you see different things; bring a raincoat :). The guesthouse was very quiet, and the owner made us feel at ease while remaining available for questions and interventions.

The guesthouse was super, the manager very helpful, and his colleague who prepared the kitchen was very friendly, serving excellent meals.

The owner is not only an ornithology enthusiast but also loves plants, which he used to decorate the entire house. This décor makes the guesthouse feel more like home than a hotel. The meals are excellent, the rooms are comfortable and exceptionally clean, and everything is just a stone's throw from Keoladeo National Park. The owner is very friendly.
